Meet Your Head Trainer
I'm Erin, the Owner and Head Trainer at Punk Paws! I’m a Certified Professional Dog Trainer (CPDT-KA), AKC Canine Good Citizen (CGC) & Trick Dog (TKN) Evaluator, and a member of the Association of Professional Dog Trainers (APDT).
Since founding Punk Paws in 2020, I’ve been dedicated to helping dogs and their people thrive together. I share my space with nine wonderful dogs, as well as cats, goats, chickens, snakes, spiders, and fish plus a toddler! My passion for working with animals was sparked young, when I began rehabilitating feral kittens for a local rescue at just 6 years old. I’ve always valued patience and dedication when working with our pets. I believe in building strong canine-human relationships based on mutual respect and trust. I also think that we should be having fun while we’re at it!

Need some one-on-one? During our initial consultation, we can address a wide range of your pup's needs, such as assistance with behavioral issues, & guidance on manners & essential skills. At the end of our first lesson, you will receive a personalized training plan tailored specifically to your dog's unique requirements, ensuring effective & positive outcomes! We provide comprehensive follow-up lessons to track progress & address any ongoing concerns.

Obedience (Level 2)
Build reliability & impulse control in our Obedience class. We add challenge by introducing distractions & obstacles to strengthen the skills learned in our Manners class. Learn new commands like Touch & Place! This class is a great preparation for the Canine Good Exam, which can be taken at the end of Canine Citizen (Level 3).

Manners (Level 1)
Our Manners class is perfect for dogs of all ages! We focus on essential skills like down, stay, & come, with added distractions to build your pup's skill. We also work on important manners such as wait, leave it, & proper greetings. Let's shape great habits together!

Puppy Kindergarten
Join us in this fun and engaging puppy class where your puppy can learn manners like appropriate greetings & no barking. This class builds the foundation for basic obedience skills such as down, stay, & come, preparing your pup for the AKC S.T.A.R. puppy certification test in the last class. There will be plenty of time to play during class, too!

Erin has an amazing & loving rapport with the animals she trains. She also has infinite patience with the owners! We get into habits which she helps us see & sort out.
