Meet the Trainer
I'm Erin, the Owner and Head Trainer at Punk Paws. I’m a Certified Professional Dog Trainer (CPDT-KA), AKC Canine Good Citizen (CGC) & Trick Dog (TKN) Evaluator, and a member of the Association of Professional Dog Trainers (APDT).

Since founding Punk Paws in 2021, I’ve been dedicated to helping dogs and their people thrive together. I share my space with eight wonderful dogs, as well as cats, goats, chickens, snakes, spiders, and fish. My passion for working with animals was sparked young, when I began rehabilitating feral kittens for a local rescue at just 6 years old. I’ve always valued patience and dedication when working with our pets. I believe in building strong canine-human relationships based on mutual respect and trust. I also think that we should be having fun while we’re at it!

We cannot say enough wonderful things about Erin & the impact she has had on our family & our puppy, Nala. As first-time puppy parents, we were completely overwhelmed & unsure of what to do. Finley is now almost 5 years old. When we brought him home, we were thrilled except for the fact that he was mouthing everything & everyone, plus jumping up on people. One of our friends recommended Erin. We instantly connected with her warm personality & Finley adored her. She taught us how to behave & train, as well as Finley, which is so important. Erin has an amazing & loving rapport with the animals she trains. She also has infinite patience with the owners! We get into habits which she helps us see & sort out. Our two dogs, Chance & Finley, love her! They get very excited when she comes by. She gives them lots of "hugs & loves", plus the treats help also!
